Welcome to St. Aloysius Parish's web site.

We are a Roman Catholic faith community, established in 1859. St. Aloysius is located within sight of our nation's Capitol, just a few blocks from the United States Senate, the historic Union Railway Station and the National Postal Museum.

Our community supports the Father McKenna Center, located in the lower level of the church. The Center serves the homeless and needy of our community.

We are very proud of our Gospel Choir, which animates our liturgical celebrations. The choir performs at many events in the Washington D.C. area.

We pray as a community for our Church. The Parish Council is asking all parishioners to put the uncertainty of our parish in daily prayer. One suggestion would be to pray the FOLLOWING PRAYER each day. 195
