DIRECTIONS FROM ELSEWHERE IN DC AND BEYOND:

By Metrobus: St. Aloysius is at the intersection of several bus lines. The 80 between Fort Totten and the Kennedy Center (both directions) stops a block before the front of the church (North Capitol and K Sts.), as does the 96 heading South and East. The X2 between Minnesota Ave. and McPherson Square stops 1 block south (North Capitol and H Sts.).

By MetroRail: Go to Union Station (Red Line) and exit on the Amtrak side. After exiting ht gates, walk past the escalator and exit onto First St. NE, turning right. Turn left on G St. NE and walk to N. Capitol St. Turn right and walk to the intersection of N. Capitol and H St. Cross both streets and walk towards the Church, on the West side of North Capitol.

From Maryland (Northeast): Take the Baltimore-Washington parkway (MD 295) south. Pass the Capital Beltway. The Fourth exit after the Beltway is the split onto US 50 West, which becomes New York Ave. NE as you enter the District. Follow New York Ave. past Florida Ave NE, then get in left turn lane to turn left onto North Capitol St. You should be heading south with the U.S. Capitol before you. Go past K St. You will see Gonzaga College High School on the right and St. Aloysius immediately afterward. Eye St. (parking) is the first light after K St, a right turn between the Church and the Football Field.

From The North (via I-270 or I-95): From Capital Beltway (I-495), take exit 31 (Georgia Ave.) and drive south. Continue on Georgia Ave. past Silver Spring and into Washington. Drive another 2 miles, the turn left on Missouri Ave. (This is an uneven intersection). Turn right on North Capitol St. (Look for Washington Hospital Center sign). Drive past cemetery on the right, then past Michigan Ave. You will be driving toward the Capitol, going under two overpasses. After K St., you will see Gonzaga College High School on the right and St. Aloysius immediately afterward. Eye St. (parking) is the first light after K St, a right turn between the Church and the Football Field.

From Virginia (via I -395) or Southeast DC: Take 395 into Washington. Take the Massachusetts Ave. exit. You will be driving north on 2^nd St. NW. Take the second right (H St. NW). Take H St. to North Capitol and turn left. (Note: On weekdays between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., this left turn is illegal and dangerous, so take a right on North Capitol and do a U-turn at the first break in the road). You will see a football field on the left and St. Aloysius immediately afterward. Eye St. (parking) is the first light, a left turn between the Football Field and the Church.

From Virginia (via I-66): Take I-66 over the Roosevelt Bridge. Go onto Constitution Ave. Follow Constitution and merge onto Pennsylvania Ave., heading towards the Capitol. Take an immediate left onto Louisiana Ave. You will see Union Station ahead. Turn left onto North Capitol. Cross H St. You will see a football field on the left and St. Aloysius immediately afterward. Eye St. (parking) is the first light, a left turn between the Football Field and the Church.

From Northwest DC: Take Massachusetts Ave. eastward. Turn right on Seventh St. and immediately get in the left lane to turn onto K St. Go on K then take a right on North Capitol St. You will see Gonzaga College High School on the right and St. Aloysius Church immediately afterward. Eye St. (parking) is the first light after K St, a right turn between the Church and the Football Field.

From Southeast DC: Take 295 to 395-N, into the tunnel. Take the Massachusetts Ave. exit. You will be driving north on 2^nd St. NW. Take the second right (H St. NW). Take H St. to North Capitol and turn left.
